Tosium expands its product range

In order to be able to offer its customers in the industrial apparatus and mechanical engineering sectors an even more comprehensive service, the company has added stainless steel grades typical for these industries to its portfolio with immediate effect. For this purpose, Tosium uses the proven stainless steel grades of its parent company, the Linsi Group based in Shanghai, China.

Customers in the areas of apparatus and mechanical engineering for the chemical process industry and petrochemical and oil and gas industries in particular are to benefit from this enhanced range of materials from now on.

"We are pleased to be able to make our customers such an offer. We know that different materials such as nickel alloys and stainless steels are used, particularly in plant and apparatus construction projects. Until now, these had to be requested from various companies or distributors. This all costs efforts and is time-consuming. With our enhanced portfolio to include stainless steels from Linsi, we can offer even more comprehensive services to our customers from a single source, so to speak," says Goloyal, Senior Customer Manager Tosium. "For stainless steel sheets, we also provide the processing and cut-to-size services common in the nickel sector, using laser or waterjet equipment."

The Service Center, based in Kunshan, Jiangsu, is of course available to its customers to handle prefabrications and cut-to-size parts according to customer drawings. The stainless steel grades are offered as sheets in various thicknesses and dimensions. These grades are consistently characterised by their good corrosion resistance, high strength and very good mechanical properties. Other materials of the Linsi Group and their blanks are available upon request from the Service Center.
