The microstructure and composition of the compound casting joints were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that ZL109-Al99.5 and ZL109-ZL109 compound casting joints have good metallurgical bonding interface and the interface is mainly in the form of diffusion bonding, assisting with fusion bonding.
